Biography

1998 - 1991: BSc(Hons), Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London

1991 - 1994: PhD, University of Durham, under the direction of Professor Martin Bryce

1994 - 1995: Research Fellow, Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz, Germany, under the direction of Professor Klaus Muellen

1995 - 2000: Lecturer in Organic Chemistry, Sheffield Hallam University

2000 - 2005: Lecturer then Senior Lecturer in Inorganic Materials Chemistry, University of Manchester

2005 - 2006: Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow

2005 - present: Professor of Materials Chemistry, University of Strathclyde
