Research Prizes and Fellowships
- Sigma-Aldrich Emerging Investigator Award (2011). Awarded by the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry to the most promising member under 36 years of age.
- RSC Harrison-Meldola Memorial Medal and Prize (2009) awarded by the Royal Society of Chemistry for the most meritorious and promising original investigations published in chemistry by a scientist aged 32 or below. The citation for this prize read "for her outstanding original and innovative contributions to the synthetic and structural chemistry of the alkali-metals and the development of new multimetallic methods for selective metallations."
- Royal Society University Research Fellowship, University of Strathclyde, UK, November 2006-September 2014.
- Ramón y Cajal Fellowship, grant sponsored by the MEC (Ministerio de Educacion y Ciencia Espaňol) which targets young researchers starting their independent careers, Universidad de Oviedo, Spain.
