Professor Mills has a wide range of research interests including: semiconductor and dye photochemistry, optical and electrical gas sensors, redox catalysis and oxide corrosion kinetics.
Current research is focussed on: oxygen colourimetric sensing, artificial nose technology, intelliengence inks (especially for use in packaging) and thin film semiconductor photocatalysis.
